About the Author
Initially qualifying as
a barrister, Nicholas Fox is a
European and Chartered British patent attorney
and intellectual property litigator specialising in computer-related
inventions. He is also admitted to the bar of the state of
New York.
He recently appeared in
the High Court on behalf of the
Oneida Indian Nation on appeal against a
decision of the Comptroller and successfully acted on behalf of a
consortium of four small British companies prompting a
change of policy of the UK-IPO towards claims directed to computer
readable media.
He has taught on the JDD European
Qualifying Examination course since
2003, lectures on litigation for the
European Patent Academy and is a
guest lecturer for the
M.Sc. and
certificate courses at Queen Mary, University of London.
